Garlic Butter Chicken with Rice

Ingredients:

  • 200g chicken breast (cut into cubes or strips)

  • 100g uncooked white rice

  • 1 tablespoon olive oil

  • 1 tablespoon butter

  • 2 cloves garlic (minced)

  • 1/2 onion (chopped)

  • 1/2 bell pepper (optional, sliced)

  • Salt and pepper to taste

  • 1/2 teaspoon paprika

  • Fresh parsley for garnish (optional)

Instructions:

  1. Cook rice according to package instructions. Set aside.

  2. Heat olive oil in a pan over medium heat. Add the chicken and season with salt, pepper, and paprika.

  3. Sauté until golden and fully cooked (about 7–8 minutes). Remove from the pan and set aside.

  4. In the same pan, melt the butter and add garlic and onion. Cook until soft and fragrant (2–3 minutes).

  5. (Optional) Add bell pepper and cook for 2 more minutes.

  6. Return the chicken to the pan. Mix everything well and cook for another 2 minutes.

  7. Serve warm over the cooked rice. Garnish with fresh parsley if desired.
